Popular Foods in CaboShrimp Tacos in Cabo San Lucas

If you’re wondering what are some of the authentic foods to try in Cabo, here is a list of some of the most popular foods to try. To start with, you must try a Mexican Chocolate Clam that gets their name because of the brown, chocolate color of their shiny shells. It’s difficult to find chocolate clams on the menu in other parts of the world due to strict export controls on this delicacy so definitely try them during your visit to Baja. Also, Shrimp and Fish Tacos are another popular dish in Baja. Baja fish tacos are usually made from crispy beer-battered cod tucked into corn tortillas, topped with a cabbage slaw and smoky chipotle sauce. Simply delicious! Chicken tamales and smoked Marlin tostadas are meaty and delicious local favorites, too. Last but not least, a dish called “comida de pobres” (or food of the poor) is seafood soup made with rice and beans and served with tortillas.
