Currently, the venues for the sailing competition are ready to start welcoming sailors and event attendees to the Riviera Nayarit sailing competition. The Co-President of the Riviera Nayarit event is Linda Green, and she has stated that 113 sailing competitors have already registered to attend the sailing competition. Also, the coaches and the team leaders of the sailors are almost 150 participants. The Vallarta Yacht Club and the Paradise Village Nuevo Vallarta Hotel, which is just north of Puerto Vallarta are where the main competition venues are located. They are prepared to have competitors from the Bahamas, Argentina, Cayman, Brazil, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, Guatemala, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Virgin Islands, and the United States. The Riviera Nayarit event and sailing competition has already put safety protocols into place so all sailors, participants, staff members, and volunteers will be safe from COVID.
