In López Martínez’s mural, you can see a catrina face, butterflies, flowers, the Aztec symbol Nahui-Ollin, corn, and the God Pakal (in his transition to death). The Aztec symbol Nahui-Ollin represents the center of the universe. Also, corn is a very essential food in the Mexican diet. Next, the Aztec God Pakal is depicted in his transition from life to death. In terms of size, the wall painting measures an astounding 15 meters long. Likewise, one end of the mural measures six meters in height, and the other side measures four meters high.
